Just pick up a map and start touring! More than 300 creative and gracious gardeners are looking forward to seeing you again—or for the first time.

Garden Walk Buffalo attracts visitors from around the U.S., Canada, and beyond. Tens of thousands of visitors visit beautiful Buffalo to enjoy the creativity and work of its best ambassadors—its gardeners.

HOURS

10am-4pm, rain or shine. If you see a sign out before 10am, or after 4pm, you’re still welcome.

Artists in Gardens

Experience where art and gardens grow together with Artists in Gardens, a celebration of local talent blooming alongside Buffalo Niagara’s most beautiful gardens. Throughout the season, 25 visual artists will create live art in gardens across Alden, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, East Aurora, Eden, Grand Island, Hamburg, Lockport, Tonawanda, West Falls, West Seneca, and Williamsville. SURPRISE GARDENS!

Sometimes past participants join at the last minute and put their garden signs out—even if they’re not on the official map. If you spot a sign, don’t hesitate to stop in and say hello! This year’s surprise gardens include:

  • 168 Edward St

  • 180 Edward St

 

PARKING

Free parking is available at headquarters locations and on most city streets.
Tip: Weekend street parking in Buffalo is usually free—just check the signs for any restrictions.


HOTELS

Find lodging options through Visit Buffalo Niagara.
The Elmwood Village, Allentown, and Downtown areas are closest to Garden Walk events.

FOOD & SHOPPING

Take a break and enjoy local restaurants, cafes, and shops in:

  • Elmwood Village

  • Allentown

  • Hertel Avenue

These neighborhoods are packed with great options for lunch, coffee, and browsing.
